现任中国科协副主席,原任中国科学院副院长。主要从事化工过程量化设计和放大研究。提出了能量最小多尺度(EMMS)模型,在将该模型推广应用于不同的多相系统和解决工业问题的过程中,形成了统一的多尺度方法,并由此定义了一种新的多尺度计算模式,并应用于各种复杂系统的模拟和工业过程仿真。基于此提出并推动了多学科交叉的科学——介尺度科学,是国家自然科学基金委介尺度科学重大研究计划的首席科学家。他还是第三世界科学院、瑞士工程院、英国皇家工程院和澳大利亚工程院院士。担任国际科学理事会(ICSU)副主席、亚洲科学院理事会副主席(AASSA)、中国化工学会常务副理事长、国际期刊Particuoloy主编、Powder Technology、Advances in Chemical Engineering 编委和 Chemical Engineering Science、Advanced Powder Technology的国际顾问。曾获中国科学院自然科学一等奖、技术发明一等奖、国家自然科学二等奖等。获首届国家杰出青年基金,第三届中国青年科学家奖,香港求是基金会杰出青年学者奖,美国化工学会颗粒技术演讲奖和第三世界科学院演讲奖。
Monty Alger
Professor Monty Alger is the Director of the Penn State Institute for Natural Gas Research and Professor of Chemical Engineering. Prior to Penn State, Monty held positions as Senior Vice President for Research Myriant, LLC. Vice President and Chief Technology Officer with Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. He spent 23 years at General Electric (GE) where he led technology development at the Global Research Center, GE Plastics and was the General Manager Technology for the Advanced Materials Business. Before joining GE he was Director of the MIT Albany Chemical Engineering Practice School Station. He is a member of the Shenhua National Institute of Clean and Low Carbon Energy Technical Advisory Board (2010-present); Scientific Advisory Board PTTGC Thailand and Myriant, LLC (2014-present). He was Director, American Institute of Chemical Engineers (2009-2012); Council on Competitiveness – Technology Leadership Strategy Initiative Member (2010-2012) and has served on several Chemical Engineering Department Advisory Boards. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering. He has SB and SM degrees in chemical engineering from MIT (1978) and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1982).
钱锋
中国工程院院士,过程控制和过程系统工程专家。现任华东理工大学教授、博士导师、副校长,化工过程先进控制与优化技术教育部重点实验室主任,过程系统工程教育部工程研究中心主任,国务院学位委员会控制科学与工程学科评议组成员,中国石油和化工自动化应用协会副理事长。全国政协第十一届、十二届委员会委员。
他长期从事化工过程资源与能源高效利用的系统运行智能控制和实时集成优化方法与关键技术研究。先后获得4项国家科技进步二等奖、10项省部级科技进步一等奖等20余项省部级科技奖励,授权国家发明专利36项,登记国家计算机软件著作权60余项,获得中国专利优秀奖、2项上海市发明创造奖发明专利一等奖,出版专著3部、发表论文被SCI/EI收录270余篇。研究成果入选中国高校产学研合作十大优秀案例。先后荣获首届新世纪百千万人才工程国家级人选、国家“973计划”项目首席科学家,国家杰出青年科学基金、入选教育部长江学者特聘教授、何梁何利基金科学与技术创新奖、全国发明创业奖、上海市科技精英、上海市劳动模范等荣誉。
Khalil Amine
Materials Scientist- Chemical Sciences and Engineering
Dr. Khalil Amine is an ArgonneDistinguished Fellow and the director of the Advanced Battery Technology team at Argonne National Laboratory, where he is responsible for directing the research and development of advanced materials and battery systems for HEV, PHEV, EV,and satellite, military and medical applications. Dr. Amine currently serves a committee member of the U.S. National Research Consul, US Academy of Sciences on battery related technologies. He is an adjunct distinguished professor at Stanford University, Hong Kong University of science & Technology, Peking University, Beijing Institute of Technology and Nanjing science &Technology University. Among his many awards, Dr. Khalil is a 2003 recipient of Scientific America’s Top Worldwide 50 Researcher Award, a 2008 University of Chicago distinguished scientist award, a 2009 recipient of the US Federal Laboratory Award for Excellence in Technology Transfer, 2013 DOE Vehicle technologies office award and is the five-time recipient of the R&D 100 Award, which is considered as the Oscar of technology and innovation. In addition, he was recently awarded the ECS battery technology award and the international battery association award. Dr. Amine holds over 178 patents and patent applications and has over 465publications with agoogle h-index of 95. From 1998-2010, Dr. Amine was the most cited scientist in the world in the field of battery technology. He serves as the president of IMLB. He is also the chairman of the international automotive lithium battery association, ECS fellowand associate editor of the journal of Nano-Energy.
